Hotaru-de ware embodies a mystical light akin to sunlight streaming through clouds. Hailing from Seto, Taruta consistently produces “linear Hotaru-de” pottery, featuring intricate openwork patterns and a crisp seihakuji glaze. He pursues the ideal beauty daily and continuously experiments with new forms of expression.
This exhibition, returning after a year, will unveil fresh creations under the theme “Shaping Light.” These pieces are designed not only for practical use but also as captivating artworks. This exhibition promises to evoke a refreshing coolness amidst the summer sun. We warmly invite you to attend.
