Tension and relaxation – an ambiguous gap is formed between the amalgamation of two opposing elements. Created based on the artist’s very own sense of aesthetics and form, Takeyoshi Mitsui’s glass works possess the ability to calm the viewer’s mind. In this exhibition, we will exhibit a variety of works such as cups and tumblers of the “Silence” series with beautifully overlapped colors, as well as katakuchi (sake server) and tea bowl of the “Amber on Gray” series. Please enjoy these exquisite glasses that feature a soft and gentle expression.
