We are pleased to present a solo exhibition by glass artist Takeyoshi Mitsui, who is based in Toyama Prefecture.
A gentle sense of stillness envelops Mitsui’s work. In harmony with the quiet spaces it inhabits, its presence reveals ever-deepening layers of subtle beauty.
In this exhibition, Mitsui unveils new works characterized by a soft, understated presence that quietly accompanies the user. Reconsidering the very nature of the vessel, he has opened up new possibilities of expression through a technique in which two colors of glass are layered and blown together.
In addition, two of his most acclaimed series, “Silence” and “Amber on Gray,” will be presented together in their entirety.
We warmly invite you to experience the serene world of Mitsui’s work at the exhibition venue.
