In the refined presence of porcelain, Nami Takahashi’s works quietly reflect the abundance of nature. Flowing sculptural lines shift with light and angle, a subtle tension remains as each piece is released from its mold, and the surfaces are polished until completely smooth. Each shape carries a quiet presence, saying little yet leaving a clear impression. For her first solo exhibition at HULS Gallery Tokyo, the lineup includes sake ware, vases, objets, as well as Gaiwan and tea cups, which highlight HULS’s specialty in tea ware. Through this diverse range of works, she introduces her world of “the beauty of everyday things.”
