“Unwind” – Shinji Terauchi, Riso Porcelain Solo Exhibition

As the head of Riso Porcelain, an Arita ware manufacturer, Shinji Terauchi continues to explore the relationship between food and tableware through his work with leading chefs and restaurants around the world. In his handcrafted works, he brings together his experience from these collaborations with his own ideas and sensibilities as a ceramic artist. With “unwinding time,” as its theme, this exhibition presents a selection of one-of-a-kind pieces, including new tea ware made on his own pottery wheel. A special selection of Riso Porcelain tableware, selected by Terauchi specifically for HULS Gallery, will also be available. This exhibition is dedicated to those who cherish a quiet moment with tea or a drink in their busy daily lives. We sincerely look forward to your visit.
