We are pleased to announce the first solo exhibition of glass artist Yuko Sekino, based in Tanba-Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture. Yuko\u2019s works are distinguished by her refined glass-blowing techniques and the unique bubble patterns she applies to the surface of the glass using methods she has developed herself. The fusion of intentional form with the natural randomness of the bubbles produces a rich visual expression, brought to life through the transmission and reflection of light\u2014a beauty unique to glass.
\n<\/span>This exhibition will feature popular series such as “Utakata” and “Ao no Kasanari,” along with the much-anticipated new “Ginkan” series. From tea utensils and sake ware to tableware and flower vases, these works are designed to gently enrich and accompany everyday life. We invite you to experience and appreciate the elegance and subtlety of her creations.<\/span><\/p>\n
