Tension and relaxation \u2013 an ambiguous gap is formed between the amalgamation of two opposing elements. Created based on the artist\u2019s very own sense of aesthetics and form, Takeyoshi Mitsui\u2019s glass works possess the ability to calm the viewer\u2019s mind. In this exhibition, we will exhibit a variety of works such as cups and tumblers of the \u201cSilence\u201d series with beautifully overlapped colors, as well as katakuchi (sake server) and tea bowl of the \u201cAmber on Gray\u201d series. Please enjoy these exquisite glasses that feature a soft and gentle expression.<\/p>\n

A glass artist living in Toyama Prefecture. A good glass blower who is pursuing new expressions with a unique color sense.<\/p>\n

1987 Born in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan
\n2009 Awarded the 4th Contemporary Glass Art Exhibition in Sanyo Onoda, Mayor prize.
\n2012 Master of Crafts, Graduate School of Art, Kurashiki University of Science and the Arts.
\n2012 Worked for Toyama Glass Studio

\n2016 Solo exhibition \u201cSENSE\u201d (Artist-in-residence Canberra Glassworks \/ Australia)
