SUMMARY:“Bowls of Connections” – A Solo Exhibition by Shinji Terauchi of Riso Porcelain
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce a solo exhibition featuring Shinji Terauchi, the head of the Arita ware manufacturer, Riso Porcelain. This exhibition highlights Terauchi’s role as a ceramic artist, featuring and selling one-of-a-kind pieces that he has meticulously handcrafted using a potter’s wheel. The theme of this exhibition, “Azuke-bachi” (sharing bowls), focuses on medium and large bowls created to be enjoyed both as functional tableware and as decorative art.
